Many families may prefer to undertake care of a loved one at their home, especially if their needs are non-medical or do not require around the clock supervision. In these cases the cost of in-home care for the elderly can be more affordable than residency at an assisted living community.
Unique to United Methodist Communities HomeWorks however, is the chance to have the best of both worlds: The opportunity to have affordable, professional senior home care; and the ability to take advantage of many of the additional amenities and social opportunities available at our full service communities.
Costs of In Home Senior Care
In general most home health care agencies will charge anywhere from $15 to $35 per hour for non-medical in-home care. These rates can vary depending on the number of hours contracted and by the level of service requested.
UMC HomeWorks offers discounted packages that can make the cost of in-home care for the elderly more affordable for those requiring larger commitments of time or round the clock monitoring.
As a non-profit faith based organization, United Methodist Communities Homeworks is committed to providing affordable and compassionate care to NJ seniors of every race, religion, and need. Call our home care hotline today at 732-838-1950.
