Payment Options for In Home Senior Care

- Private Funds
Any personal funds that you have saved, you can use to privately pay for care services in your home.
- Long Term Care Insurance
Long-term care insurance policies are available and they provide payment for senior care services in both a senior’s home or in an assisted living facility. Long-term care can be purchased at any age, with pricing connected to your age and health.
Low-income seniors with few assets (usually around $2,000.00) can qualify for Medicaid insurance to help pay for senior care. This programs requirements vary by state.

United Methodist Communities HomeWorks is partnering with Veteran Home Care to provide assistance to aging veterans or their surviving spouses through the VetAssist Program. Veterans Home Care works with health professionals to identify these individuals and help them apply.
